I was surprised to learn last year that every fall there is a sanctioned elk hunt in Grand Teton National Park. Hunting in a national park??? What's up with that? We feed 'em on the elk refuge so we can go shoot them. It makes no sense. It's not like there isn't plenty of places in the surrounding national forests where people can hunt elk. Oh, but that would be too difficult. It's much easier to hunt them in a national park where they are used to people so that makes it much easier to kill them.
Post and read news about Yellowstone.
