May Trip Day 3

Post by RikWriter »

Stayed on the north end of the park today. Got a great photo opportunity with a fox near Baronette Peak, then got a golden eagle near Foot Bridge in the Lamar. Not much else except lots of snow.

Thanks for the posts, Rik. Did you think the park looked really dry for this time of year?

We were there for two weeks at the end of April. It snowed or rained every day we were there. Still a lot of accumulated snow everywhere. It may have been drier than usual, but it seemed pretty wet to us.

Always appreciate your reports. Been reading the May ones and the ones from February. We went up in January and didn't see a lot, but had a great time anyway. I really am grateful that you get in there so often and take time to let us know what's happening. And LOVE your photos!
