Winter trip day 4

Post by RikWriter »

Slow day with a lot of snow and wind. Got some more pics of the big bull elk at Petrified Tree and not much else. I did meet Jim Halfpenny at Pebble Creek where he was examining an old elk carcass.
Then my truck broke down in Gardiner and ended our little trip a day early.

Hope the truck turned out OK. Sounds like you had a great trip. Is there much snow in the park? from what I've been hearing, it doesn't sound like much. Hopefully it changes as we need some moisture.

The truck is in the shop until the end of February. There was a good amount of snow on the ground but it was warmer than usual.
