Trip Report May 11

Went out to the Lamar early. Got some shots of Junction Butte wolf 1229F coming off a carcass with a big chunk of meat in her mouth before the Wolf Project Stasi shut down the overlooking hill. Also got a bald eagle and a coyote on the carcass.
Spent a lot of time at Slough Creek looking for badgers but saw none. Did see a merlin hunting but couldn't get a shot of him.
Headed back to Mammoth and went out to Roaring Mountain to see if Obsidian and her cubs were out. They were, and I took a few hundred shots of them in a raging snowstorm. Headed in early because I didn't sleep well last night and could barely keep my eyes open.
