Nice shots, Rick. I'm still looking forward to my first close up shots of wolves.
Is that "Snow" on snow? I haven't seen her since 2017, but I did get to see Raspberry and her coy last summer. I'll be out there in mid-May this year and will surely be on the lookout for them. Sure would like to see Snow with a coy this year.
I'll post some 2020 shots in the near future.

That is indeed Snow, somewhere between Sylvan Pass and Steamboat Point.

Man, I envy you being able to see 399 and her cubs.

Wow, those are some great shots!
Thanks!
I have to tell the story about the first two (610 and one of her cubs): My friend and I drove 1600 miles from Louisiana, 2 and a half days, and entered GTNP via Moran. We were tired and still didn't have a place to camp, so we were in a hurry to get to West Yellowstone. I couldn't resist turning onto Pacific Creek Road though, and within 15 minutes 610 and her cubs popped out onto the road. What a great way to begin a trip.
We also saw 399 and cubs near Pilgrim Creek, but they were way off in a field with a huge jam on the main road, so we just moved along.
The third one is Raspberry and her coy. I get teary eyed every time I see her or Snow, since I had an amazing encounter with them in 2016 at Lake Butte Overlook. I have this forum to thank for that encounter, since I was there after reading several trip reports from previous years.

Love that "lone wolf" shot!
