I haven't posted any photos yet from my trip yet so I started going through them and picking out a few.

I really loved the clear water pools. The color and the clarity of the water was just amazing. I'm going to start with just one to test the size. There seems to be a max width here of 858 pixels.

Those are some beautiful shots. The "water" in Yellowstone is so amazing. Just one of the many things that makes this place magical.

Thanks everyone. I had perfect weather every day except one and you can see the dark skies in that last picture. Thankfully it was just a quick shower.

Superb! Just curious if you used any sort of polarizing filter to get the water so clear?

Yes, I use a polarizer to remove reflections or adjust reflections to a level that I like.

Does anyone else see the face in the second one? The sunken eyes, big nose and Jay Leno chin?

For anyone interested in the use of a polarizer in photography I started another thread for that topic here.
