I was able to spend some time in Denver/Estes Park/RMNP the second week of September. We hit the weather just right and it was gorgeous. Hiked around Bear Lake and to Alberta Falls. Went over to the Colorado River headwaters. The leaves had not begun to turn, with the exception of a single tree on the way to Alberta Falls.

There is only one Wonderland, but let's also talk about and share photos of other national parks.

Looks like the weather was perfect, with a great mix of scenery. That waterfall spot looks gorgeous.
