Rik, somehow we missed seeing these pictures until just now. Wow! they certainly are fantastic. Glad we noticed even though it is a bit late. The fox sure has a mouthful! are those multiple ground squirrels?

I thought they were but someone else said they thought they were pocket gophers.

Didn't know you guys were in the park! I'll be heading to GT next week for a few days, then on to Yellowstone. Hope I see some wolves. I rarely see any in the fall.

Do you know if the Shrimp Lake pack had any pups that survived?

Very sad. They wouldn't have gone after her if she'd stayed out of trouble, but once they start getting into human food, particularly in houses, it gets very dangerous.

I've heard they're not going to euthanize the bear since it didn't predate her.
