Anyone know if the campgrounds ( Tower Falls ) in particular are open yet, or opening soon? Can't find any clear info online. Kevin. Tower Falls campground won't be open this year or next because the road is closed.

Fantastic shots! We finally saw them this week, but not a view like you had. The alpha female is one beautiful wolf Yeah, it was a great trip. And even on May 27, when the wolves were all over the carcass all morning long, the most cars we had stopped was 20-25, at late morning. Most of the morning...

I hate the traps also but I'm not sure how else you can slow people down without Rangers and radar guns. I will never understand the need for speed in a place like Yellowstone.

I also agree to raise the International tourist fees. When I visit the South African National Parks I pay 4.5 times the entry fee of a South African national and don't mind at all knowing I am helping these Parks survive for future generations. In addition to raising fees how about some camera trap...
