Beautiful shots, Max.

I finally saw the Sylvan Lake cross fox. It was very early in the AM and light wasn't good, but I got a couple shots.

This was, perhaps, the worst trip I've taken photography results-wise. Animal sightings were plentiful, but they were almost invariably far away, with intervening brush and/or bad light. I had much more luck in Grand Teton than Yellowstone, and I didn't have that much there. I did SEE a few interest...

I've been here since the Third and seen very little. I'm down in GT now, did see a big boar grizz just before the "Welcome to Grand Teton" sign, but he was a tease as far as showing his face.

That lens works surprisingly well with the 1.4x teleconverter (especially given how the old one basically didn't cooperate with teleconverters at all). Honestly, I haven't had time to take the lens out with the new TC since I got it. The hurricane basically shut down all the nature parks around here and they're still shut down by flooded trails. I guess the TC will get a workout at Yellowstone next week...

That's the same long prime I have, Nordwil: the 600mm f4L VI. Bought a VIII 1.4X TC to go with it.
