Re: Wolf Hazing

I agree with Rik's descriptive words. I also agree there is overmanaging by the Superintendent. A particular wolf gets to close to people, it may need a lesson. It sounds like and appears not all wolves being treated this way are problems. Not all wolves need hazing, they are just going about their ...

Wolf Hazing

We were in Yellowstone May 18th - 23rd. We stayed at Canyon a couple days and I believe early morning on the 22nd we were driving south just around the turn at Grizzly Overlook. There crossing the road or trying was a grey wolf. There were a few cars pulled over and a white truck with a government s...

Re: Mid-May trip 2021

Thanks for the Road updates and link. We ended up flying into Bozeman May 18 and leave out of there May 28. We go to the Tetons May 23 so should be okay road wise, barring weather delays. We have never been out here that early so we are excited for the trip. I hope all have safe strips with great wi...

May 18 through 28th

Greetings, We had reservations all set and had planned 3 nights (May 18,19,20 at Mammoth, then 2 nights, (May 21 & 22) at Lake Cabins, then 4 nights at Signal Mtn. We are just now finding that Lake will not open now until the end of May (28th). So it appears we need lodging now for May 21 & 22. Our ...

Mid-May trip 2021

Greetings,
We have never been to the park in May and are planning a trip with a May 18th arrival. If we fly into Jackson Hole and we stay in Mammoth, are roads generally open in the park so we could make the trip from the southern entrance through the park to Mammoth?
Thanks Mark
