Re: Your thoughts on Campsites near Lamar Valley
Did you have a more accessible way into the bed of your truck or did you just hop on the tailgate? If you have pics I'd like to see them. I'm currently removing the back seat and putting in shelves, lock boxes and storage compartments for a cooler, photography and fishing supplies. I'll be in the ma...

Re: Your thoughts on Campsites near Lamar Valley
Hey Mike, About 90% tent camping. I was debating on converting my truck bed into a camper, as I'll be doing more of these trips in the coming years but, I'm not sure my knees and back would enjoy that. Re: Your thoughts on Campsites near Lamar Valley
Thanks Max,
Since that post I was able to secure 1 night in a Roosevelt cabin the night after I leave Red Lodge. I would guess I'll have a better chance to get a site at one of the first come first camped sites nearer Lamar Valley. Luckily, I still have another week In Canyon after Madison.

Re: Accessible sites
Whoops! Not Panguitch Utah...that would stink! I'm in Panguitch before heading to Grand Teton NP on May 28th. That's what happens when I'm trying to do two things at once. I'll be in Cooke City 6/10-12. I'm pretty well set up to camp in any kind of weather. I moved to AZ high desert 4 yrs ago. I liv...

Accessible sites
I have mobility issues(my children would say I also have a mental disability, aren't they PRECIOUS). I am not going to book an accessible site for any part of my trip because, to me, my mobility issues are an inconvenience not a hindrance. There are those far worse off than I. Sometimes I can't walk...
